What you must have :

We are seeking an experienced Field Telecom Engineer with hands-on expertise in operations & maintenance of telecom network.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operation and maintenance of telecom, microwave, and VHF-UHF networks.
  • Working on cellular telecom networks, especially MW links.
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience on passive infrastructure including:
  • Rectifier systems
  • Battery bank testing
  • Cabling and troubleshooting
  • Passive & active alarm testing and resolution.
  • Readiness for connectorization of cables (RG 213, 7/8”).
  • Monitoring, analysis, and resolution of active infrastructure alarms.
  • Monitoring, analysis, and resolution of infrastructure alarms.
  • Antenna and cable system connectorization & testing.
  • On-site issue resolution for power, network, and RF cable connectorization issues.
  • Issue resolution reporting and RCA (Root Cause Analysis) reporting.
  • Advising preventive measures to avoid repeated faults and improve network performance.
  • Performing preventive maintenance checks of entire systems, including tower-mounted components (with rigger support).
  • Maintaining earth resistance within limits.

Required Experience :

  • Experience: 5–10 years in telecom network operation & maintenance with the above expertise.

Education :

BE in Electronics & Communication / Telecommunications
